Business Insider analysts examined the salaries offered to Bitcoin exchange Coinbase specialists.
Business Insider analysis included nearly 400 applications for crypto-focused jobs at big companies like Facebook and Forbes to crypto-focused companies like Coinbase.
Business Insider only considered H1B visas. This is a nonimmigrant document that allows specialists to work in the United States for a limited period.
It’s worth noting that the H1B data only provides salary information and does not include other types of compensation and benefits that employees may receive in their roles, like bonuses, performance awards, or benefits.
Coinbase has filed the most significant number of H-1(B) visa applications among cryptocurrency companies, analysts said. The publication cited several positions with high salaries:
Backend Engineer: $162,000
Business Analytics Associate: $149,300
Business Development Associate: $144,000
Data Scientist: $162,400
Operations Recruiting Manager: $126,300 – $137,000
Senior Engineering Manager: $259,000
Senior Recruiter: $165,300
In June, Coinbase opened a technology center in India to attract talented professionals in cryptocurrency.
